About Me

Who am I?

My name is Natalie, and I have been involved with sport for as long as I can remember. When I was at primary school I was in the team for most sports that involved running and swimming. I really excelled in the short sprint type sports, in particular the 100m and 200m track events at school, which led me to county athletic competitions. By the time I reached secondary school, I started to enjoy the cold morning winter runs around the school grounds and I grew my love for cross country running.

Alongside my running I had a passion for swimming. I really found the benefit of both running and swimming and how they helped me progress in both sports. So by the time I got into my early 20s I decided to try triathlon and add the third sport of cycling in. Again I really noticed how much the cycling helped improve my running, through the extra cardio but also the extra power I had built in my legs. This is how my passion for triathlon began! As I got older, I started to pick up injuries, so now I just focus on running!

From Athlete to Online Running Coach

That journey from sprinter to cross country runner to triathlete taught me something crucial: progress in running isn’t just about logging miles. It’s about understanding how your body adapts, how different training methods complement each other, and how to build sustainable fitness that lasts.

After completing an Ironman triathlon and representing GBR as an age group athlete in sprint triathlon, I knew I wanted to help others discover what running could do for them. So I pursued the education to back up my experience, earning an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science and a Master’s degree in Sport Science. For over 17 years now, I’ve worked in the fitness industry, and my passion has always been helping beginner runners find their stride.

Whether you’re lacing up your trainers for the first time or you’re a seasoned runner looking to improve your running time, I create personalized online training plans that work around your life. I’ve seen firsthand how the right training approach can transform someone from struggling through their first 5k to confidently crossing marathon finish lines.

I offer two ways to work together:

Online Training Plans – Ready-to-use programs you can purchase and follow at your own pace, designed specifically for beginner runners who want structure without the guesswork.

Personalized Online Coaching – For runners who want dedicated support, I offer a minimum 16-week coaching program where we work together closely. You get customized training that adapts to your progress, your schedule, and your goals.

My approach draws from both my academic background in sport science and my real-world experience as an endurance athlete. I understand what it feels like to struggle through those early runs, to hit a plateau, and to push through to the other side. That’s what makes me effective as a running coach for beginners – I’ve been where you are.

Training Triathletes Too

While running is my specialty, my triathlon background means I also work with triathletes who want to strengthen their run leg or build better endurance across all three disciplines. The principles of smart training apply whether you’re chasing a PB in a 10k or preparing for your first triathlon.
